Get Tomrade.

Free to use, on macOS, Windows and Linux. Your projects stay in folders on your own machine.

Version 0.26.0, released November 4, 2026

Preview Tomrade is still in development and testing. Expect rough edges, and back up the projects that matter.

Not sure which Mac you have? Open the Apple menu › About This Mac. A chip named Apple M1 or later is Apple silicon; a processor named Intel is Intel.

Installing

macOS

Open the disk image and drag Tomrade into Applications. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without a warning.

Windows

Run the installer and pick where Tomrade goes.

The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows warns you about it. If your browser says the file isn't commonly downloaded, choose Keep. If SmartScreen says Windows protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.

Smart App Control on Windows 11 blocks unsigned apps outright. It has no Run anyway button, and it blocks Tomrade every time it starts. If it's on, turn it off under Windows Security › App & browser control › Smart App Control settings, and leave it off while you use Tomrade. You can turn it back on once Tomrade is signed. Windows 11 without the April 2026 update can't turn it back on short of reinstalling, so update Windows first.

Linux

Make the AppImage executable with chmod +x and run it. Recent Ubuntu releases need libfuse2 first (libfuse2t64 on 24.04).

Then

  1. Sign in, or choose “Use without an account”. An account syncs your preferences and project list, never project content.
  2. Create a project and tell the assistant, in one sentence, what you're up to.
  3. Optionally, connect Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
